GateWave Northern uses Vector Network Analyzers for socket, components and PCB measurements. Several different instruments with frequency ranges up to 40 GHz are available in-house. For reasons of cost-effectiveness outside this frequency range and up to 110 GHz we perform measurements off-site at one of several other facilities. RF test platforms include two custom built 5-axis test stands as well as a modified Signatone prober. Probes are either commercially available GSG/GSSG CPW probes or micro-coax based interfaces designed and constructed by GateWave Northern. DC testing is available for current carrying capability with pulse measurements plus force-deflection-resistance evaluation.
